My house in Germany

Home for my stay in northern Germany is a townhouse outside of Hamburg in the small town of Wedel. Wedel isn't really all that small by German standards. The town has several thousand residents and is actually quite a large suburb of Hamburg. I'm walking distance from the town hall, post office, train station and the main shopping street (Bahnhoffstrasse). All of these are within 5 blocks of my front door. I've marked the spot on this map.

Kantstrasse - This series of photos shows the walk down Kantstrasse to my front door.

Front Door - This is a look around at my front door both up and down the row of townhouses.

Inside - This page gives a walk around tour of the inside of the house. I didn't divide up these photos so it might be a little confusing.

Back Door - This is a look around in back of the town house. You can see my garden and what some of my neighborhood looks like.
